Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the 008Hub mobile application and the related pages of www.008hub.com (together, the “Service”). The Service is operated by 008HUB LIMITED.

Please read these Terms carefully. They are a legal agreement between you and 008HUB LIMITED. You can read them without creating an account or signing in.

1. About 008Hub

008Hub is a digital rewards and local-business promotion platform. It helps businesses such as salons, grocery stores, restaurants, food and dining businesses, beauty salons, and other local businesses provide digital rewards and customer engagement.

Businesses can use the Service to create and manage digital rewards programmes, reward customers for purchases or visits, provide cashback or reward benefits, create and publish offers and coupons, upload promotional images, manage business information, and track reward activity.

Customers can use the Service to discover participating businesses, view offers, promotional images, and coupons, take part in rewards programmes, earn rewards based on eligible purchases or visits, redeem available rewards, and receive promotional information from participating businesses.

2. Acceptance of These Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, creating an account, or signing in, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service for a business, you confirm that you have authority to bind that business, and “you” includes that business.

If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

3. Eligibility

The Service is intended for businesses and for customers who can form a binding agreement. It is not directed to children. You must not use the Service if you are not permitted to do so under the laws that apply to you.

You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide is accurate and that you keep your account credentials and device secure.

4. Accounts and Google Sign-In

Some features require an account. You may be able to create or access an account using Google Sign-In. If you choose Google Sign-In, Google authenticates you and may provide basic profile information such as your name, email address, and profile information, subject to Google’s process and the permissions you approve. We use that information to create and manage your 008Hub account. We do not receive your Google account password.

Your use of Google Sign-In is also subject to Google’s terms and privacy policy. You must provide information that is yours to share and keep your account details up to date.

You are responsible for activity that takes place through your account. Tell us at support@008hub.com if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

5. The Service for Businesses and Customers

Businesses

A participating business may use the Service to:

• create and manage digital rewards programmes
• reward customers for eligible purchases or visits
• provide cashback or other reward benefits that the business chooses to offer
• create and publish offers and coupons
• upload promotional images and other marketing content
• manage business information and promotional content
• track customer reward activity connected with that business

Customers

A customer may use the Service to:

• discover participating local businesses
• view business offers, promotional images, and coupons
• take part in digital rewards programmes
• earn rewards based on eligible purchases or visits
• redeem available rewards
• receive promotional information from participating businesses

Features can vary by business, programme, device, and app version. We may add, change, or withdraw a feature where needed to operate, secure, or improve the Service.

6. Rewards, Coupons, and Offers

Rewards, cashback, coupons, and offers are provided by the participating business that publishes them, unless we clearly state otherwise. The business sets the qualifying activity, value, limits, expiry, and redemption rules shown in the Service.

008Hub records and displays reward activity so the programme can function. This may include purchases or qualifying transactions, reward counts, cashback or reward balances, coupon usage, redemptions, and visits or engagement where the programme uses that activity.

A reward, coupon, or offer:

• is available only while the business makes it available and only if you meet the stated conditions
• has no cash value except where the business expressly offers cashback or another stated benefit
• cannot be sold, transferred, or reproduced except as the programme allows
• may be refused, reversed, or adjusted if it was obtained by mistake, misuse, or inaccurate activity

008Hub does not guarantee that a particular reward, coupon, or offer will remain available or will be honoured by a business. Customers should read the details shown in the application before relying on a promotion. Businesses must describe promotions accurately and honour valid rewards and coupons according to the terms they publish.

008Hub is a promotions and rewards platform. It is not a bank, and a reward balance is not a bank account or a stored-value payment account unless a specific programme clearly says so.

7. Business and Promotional Content

Businesses may submit offers, coupons, promotional images, business descriptions, reward information, and other marketing content. You grant 008Hub a non-exclusive licence to host, store, reproduce, and display that content in the application and on the website for as long as needed to operate the Service and to promote the relevant business within 008Hub.

The business is responsible for its content. You confirm that:

• the content is accurate and not misleading
• you have the rights needed to upload and display images and other material
• the content does not infringe anyone else’s rights or break the law
• offers and coupons can be honoured on the terms you publish

Published promotional content is visible to customers who use the Service. We may remove content that we reasonably believe breaches these Terms, infringes rights, or creates a risk for users or the Service.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for anything unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent
• create a false account or misrepresent your identity or business
• interfere with rewards, coupons, or offers, including by fabricating purchases, visits, or redemptions
• upload content you do not have the right to use
• upload unlawful, offensive, or misleading promotional material
• attempt to access another person’s account or data without permission
• probe, disrupt, or overload the Service, or bypass security
• copy, scrape, or resell the Service except where the law allows

We may investigate misuse and may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms.

9. Intellectual Property

008Hub, the 008Hub name, logo, application, and website design are owned by 008HUB LIMITED or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer that ownership to you. You may not use our branding except to identify your genuine participation in the Service, and you must stop if we ask you to.

Businesses keep ownership of the promotional content they submit, subject to the licence in these Terms. Customers must not copy a business’s offers, images, or other content except for personal use of the Service.

10. Third-Party Services

The Service may use third-party services to operate, including Google Sign-In, cloud hosting or storage, a cloud platform such as Firebase or a similar service where used, and analytics or technical providers where used. Those services are subject to their own terms. 008Hub is not responsible for a third-party service that we do not control, including Google’s authentication service.

A link to a business, offer, or third-party site is provided for convenience. Their terms and privacy practices apply once you leave 008Hub or deal directly with that business.

11. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you acknowledge that policy. Privacy questions and account-deletion requests can be sent to support@008hub.com.

12. Disclaimers

The Service is provided so that businesses and customers can manage and use digital rewards, offers, coupons, and promotions. We work to keep the Service available and accurate, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a purpose you have not agreed with us.

Participating businesses are responsible for their own goods, services, premises, prices, and for honouring the promotions they publish. A dispute about a purchase, visit, or in-store experience is between the customer and that business, except where 008Hub is required to act under these Terms or the law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

13. Limitation of Liability

Subject to the paragraph above, 008HUB LIMITED is not liable for loss of profits, business, goodwill, or indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the Service. Our total liability arising out of the Service in any 12-month period is limited to the amount, if any, you paid to 008Hub for the Service during that period, or £100 if you paid nothing, whichever is greater.

This limit does not affect rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived. If you are a business user, you are responsible for your promotions and for losses caused by content or offers you publish.

14. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and may request closure of your account as described below. We may suspend or close access if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, created a security or fraud risk, or if we need to do so to comply with the law.

If an account is closed, access to reward balances, unused coupons, and unpublished content may end. A business remains responsible for rewards and coupons that customers already earned under a published programme, to the extent the business’s own offer requires it.

15. Account and Data Deletion

To request deletion of your account and associated personal information, email support@008hub.com from the email address linked to the account. Use the subject line “Account deletion request” and include your name and the email address or phone number on the account.

We will verify the request and handle personal information as described in the Privacy Policy. Deletion does not cancel a duty the law still requires us, or a participating business, to keep.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service or the law. The updated Terms will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Where a change is material, we will give additional notice where required, such as a notice in the application or by email. If you continue to use the Service after the updated Terms take effect, you accept the update. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and request account deletion.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, except that consumers in the United Kingdom may also bring a claim in the courts of the part of the United Kingdom in which they live, where the law gives them that right.
